Democrats have assembled a team of “Galacticos” to speak at the Democratic National Convention next week in Philadelphia. Hillary Clinton is expected to formally accept the party’s nomination for presidency of the United States of America. She will make history as the first woman presidency flag bearer from the two major political parties in America.
The convention which runs from Monday to Thursday will give a rebuttal to the Republican theme of “insecurity everywhere” and it is expected speakers will go after the GOP nominee Donald Trump more so on his bigotry and divisive rhetoric. Among the celebrities expected to speak include Kate Perry, Eva Longoria, Alicia Keys, and Demi Lovato. Basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will also address the convention.
The stat-studded Democratic Party line up is scheduled to address the convention as follows:
Monday:
- Bernie Sanders-First Runner up, Democratic Party primaries and Vermont Senator
- Michelle Obama-Current First Lady
Tuesday
- Bill Clinton-42nd President of the United States
- Elizabeth Warren-Massachusetts Senator
Wednesday
- Barack Obama-incumbent President, United States of America.
- Joe Biden-Incumbent Vice President
Thursday
- Chelsea Clinton-Clinton’s daughter
- Hillary Clinton-Democratic party presidency flag bearer
